DIY Valentine’s wine glasses with the Cricut Maker

February 5, 2019

DIY Valentine’s wine glasses with the Cricut Maker

Roses are red, violets are blue… I don’t know about you guys, but I’m that person who has themed wine glasses for every holiday/time of year. I’m also that person that collects tacky city wine glasses when I travel.

Valentine’s Day was however one holiday that was missing from my collection, so I decided to make my own using my Cricut maker. (I’m on a roll with these Valentine’s themed crafts!)

In general, I’d have to say that glassware (specifically wine glasses) are one of my favourite things to create when it comes to Cricut crafts. I just love how quick and easy they are and how a little bit of adhesive vinyl can transform a glass.

DIY Personalized Notebooks with the Cricut Explore Air

DIY Personalized Notebooks with the Cricut Explore Air

I’m back again with another super easy DIY using my Cricut Explore Air. (It was only a matter of time!) I’ve had my Cricut for about 9 months now, and it’s safe to say that I’m still as obsessed with it as I was on day one.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with my machine by now, but just in case you’re not I’ll catch you up…

Cricut machines are personal cutting machines! They can write, score and cut a variety of materials such as vinyl, paper, faux leather, adhesive foil, iron-on and so much more. They come fully equipped with access to a web-based program called the Cricut Design Space that houses fonts and over 800 projects and 50,000 images for you to use to create projects out of. If you are design savvy, you can also create your own graphics and upload them.

Now that we have all the basics covered, let’s get to today’s DIY!

Easy DIY Geometric Water Bottle with the Cricut Explore Air and Design Space

Easy DIY Geometric Water Bottle with the Cricut Explore Air and Design Space

If you’re a self-proclaimed “un-crafty” person, I have good news for you, chances are you are not actually un-crafty. You just haven’t found the right DIY yet! Seriously. I’m about to change your life.

Un-crafty: adjective, a term often used by individuals who believe they lack the ability to create crafts and DIYs. They strongly believes they are incapable of crafting, painting, origami, drawing, making things out of clay, or any other crafty thing however in most cases they are simply misguided.

In my last post about my Cricut Explore Air, I covered all the basics about the machine and what it can do. Today I’m going to show you just how simple it is to use! Get ready to start impressing your friends and family with your newfound mad-crafting skills.

“Getting Crafty” with Cricut + a coupon code!

I am so, so, SO excited about my new toy! I finally have my very own Cricut, after coveting for one for almost a year. If you are a DIY lover like me and haven’t heard of their products before you seriously need to look them up.

Basically, Cricut machines can cut anything. Their machines make it super easy to create any DIY project you can dream of, and they can work with or without a computer. You can cut so many different materials with them: vinyl, paper, fabric, card stock, leather, WOOD and so much more. You can also use pens to create perfect shapes. The possibilities are really endless with this one!
