Gluten-free Mini Egg donuts

April 10, 2020

With being stuck at home, we’ve been baking up a storm in our house over the past couple of weeks and also experimenting with different recipes. (I’m totally a stress-baker and a stress-eater.) So far, we’ve made banana bread, muffins, brownies and most importantly, donuts…. [read more]

Canning for the first time with Bernardin – my grandmother’s red pepper jelly recipe!

August 13, 2019

This summer marks the 4th year anniversary of my grandmother’s passing. I wrote a little bit about her and our relationship back when it happened as a form of self-therapy, but one thing I left out was her love for canning. Growing up, my grandparents… [read more]

Recipe: Candy Cane Pancakes (gluten-free)

December 5, 2016

‘Tis the season for Candy Cane everything! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m in full Holiday mode, thanks to all those delightfully terrible made-for-TV Christmas movies. (I know, I know, super corny. But they are so bad they are good!) We had our… [read more]

It’s no secret that I love everything related to fall. (See Exhibit A and Exhibit B here.) Naturally, with it being fall, I am craving pumpkin everything and I’m on a mission to do as many fall things as I can before it’s over. Pumpkin… [read more]

A Fond Farewell to Fall

October 28, 2016

Fall technically isn’t over yet, but since I live in Canada… it’s totally over. And I’m really bummed about it. Okay, okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit here but honestly it feels like we barely even had fall this year, it was still hot for… [read more]

I had content planned to post sooner (like this photo as I’m sure you can clearly tell by the Christmas decorations 😅), but life happened and I ended up taking a break from Instagram for the rest of my holidays which honestly was really nice.

This week was my first week back to work, so I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with my pjs and Ruffi again this weekend.

’Tis the season for ugly Christmas sweaters! 🎄🎄🎄

This one has been a favourite of mine for a few years now. It might be time for me to get a new one to keep things fresh… or should I say ‘pine' fresh. See what I did there? Ok, I’ll see myself out. 🙈 #uglychristmassweater #christmas2020
