12 Last-minute gifts made easy with Amazon.ca

12 Last-minute gifts made easy with Amazon.ca

Have you finished your holiday shopping yet? I  just finished shopping myself – and I’m someone who usually is done by November.

If you’re anything like a couple of my family members, (I’m not going to call anyone out by name, you know who you are)  you still have lots to do, are starting to feel the pressure and are dreading the crowds.

Thankfully, places like Amazon exist to make your holiday shopping a little easier – even if you’ve left it to the last minute!

Great gift ideas with Uncommon Goods

Great gift ideas with Uncommon Goods

I seriously can’t believe that we are already approaching the end of October. November is right around the corner, and if you’re anything like me that means that you’re starting to think about… Christmas.

Yup, I said the C word. Sorry guys, winter is coming.

I like to think that I’m pretty good at gift shopping. I am that person who spends hours planning and everyone’s gift. I also tend to do most of my shopping online, which means I have to plan everything out well in advance to ensure it arrives on time. Typically, this means that I’ve started to think about gifts well before November 1st.

Anyway, since the gift-giving season is upon us I thought it was time for my first round-up post of the season!

Uncommon Goods is a one-stop shop for all your gift-giving needs. Based in Brooklyn, New York, half of their collection is handmade and 1/3 of it incorporates recycled or up-cycled materials, how cool is that?

Shop Local this Mother’s Day with Olive Bean & Co. (Review + Giveaway)

Shop Local this Mother’s Day with Olive Bean & Co. (Review + Giveaway)

For those of you who are familiar with my blog, you are probably well aware that I’m big on supporting local and small businesses. (Hence my shop local series.) I recently discovered a local candle company called Olive Bean & Co. that I instantly became obsessed with – I just had to learn more and get my hands on some product!

The more I learned about the products, the more I fell in love. The owner, Amanda, is an advocate for holistic health and Olive Bean & Co. is actually an extension of her holistic lifestyle brand, Honestly Nourish, where she shares healthy recipes and promotes healthy living from the inside out all while locally sourcing products and ingredients where possible.

The candles Amanda creates are hand-poured made from  beeswax, coconut oil and therapeutic grade essential oils. The wicks are made out of 100% natural cotton. She has also recently begun offering candle-making workshops. The beeswax used to create the candles are even locally sourced from a beekeeper in Durham Region, how incredible is that?!

  • Happy #valentines day! 💖🍪
  • I wished for spring weather for my birthday, but I guess that didn’t work out 🤷‍♀️❄️
  • Confession: I actually really like Valentine’s Day 🙈. To me it’s a day to celebrate everyone I love. Friends, family and fur-babies alike, because sometimes everyone needs to be reminded they are loved and appreciated. 💖
  • Hi 👋 my name is Kait, and #IHaveThisThingWithHearts 💖. (P.S. don’t let this smile fool you... I’m over the snow and dreading the winter storm we’re apparently getting. 😩)
