Some of you may know already that I am now a part of an amazing little project called Hey, Pass The Cake! Hey, Pass The Cake is essentially a lifestyle editorial website that is put together by a wide range of bloggers. The main focus of the site is to provide real, relatable advice with a slice of humour that you can actually use. It’s written for the sometimes overworked, underpaid but always fabulous 20-30 something year old struggling to figure things out, by 20-30 year olds. I’m so excited to be a part of this project!
So today is conveniently Flashback Friday and National Donut day. Yes, National Donut Day is a real day and yes it is the greatest day on earth. At the start of the month I had the amazing opportunity to appear on a local talk show, Daytime Durham! I had so much fun, and it was a huge honour to kick off the show’s blogger week. While on the show I discussed blogging, shared some tips & tricks and had the opportunity to demonstrate a recipe as well! The recipe I chose to share was an oldie but a goodie, my gluten free mozza cheese sticks.
Happy Monday and belated Easter! I spent the weekend baking these treats for my family Easter dinner at my Grandmother’s. I love Easter because it always gets me so excited for spring.. Mother nature had different plans though, and it actually started to snow in the middle of our Easter dinner. I suppose I can’t complain too much though because I do remember there still being snow on Mother’s Day last year! Man, what a drag that was.
