I don’t know about you guys, but we have been blessed with amazing Fall weather here in Toronto this year. We’re now in the second week of November and we haven’t had any snow yet! (I probably just jinxed it – sorry guys.)
I’m pretty happy about that for a couple of reasons: 1) I’m the worst Canadian and absolutely hate the snow, and 2) I’ve been so busy I felt like I barely got to do any of my favourite fall activities this year so the weather has me feeling like I have a second chance at fall before the Canadian winter settles in.
Hat: H&M; Poncho/blanket scarf: Dynamite; Shirt and jeggings: H&M (old); Boots: Global Shoes (Aldo); Necklace: Stella & Dot; Earrings and rings: Lana Betty
Some of my favourite things to do during the fall include visiting all of the pumpkin patches, (seriously, every year I try to go to as many as possible!), eating homemade apple sauce, tons of pumpkin pie. My absolute favourite thing about fall though has to be the clothes. I’m all about those comfy, cozy fall vibes.
I especially love blanket scarves/ponchos. Whoever was brilliant enough to come up with the idea that blankets can be fashionable deserves some sort of award if they haven’t already gotten one.
Give me a pair of leggings, a long tunic and a blanket scarf and I’m a happy girl. Seriously, it feels like you’re wearing pyjamas (honestly if it was socially acceptable I would be in PJs 24/7), but you look fashionable and trendy!
I easily own at least 10 or more blanket scarves and ponchos, and if you ask me that’s still not enough! I also keep a black one on the back of my chair at work for those days where my office is extra chilly (which seems to happen a lot) and since it’s black, it goes with practically anything. Some of my favourite places to shop for blanket scarves and ponchos are H&M, Dynamite, Winners, Anthropology and local artisans/boutiques.
Anyone else love ponchos and blanket scarves as much as I do? If so, let me know what store is your favourite place to grab them!
