If you’re anything like me, you always struggle a little bit with figuring out what to wear this time of year. It’s technically Fall (ok, not quite yet but it will be as of September 22), it’s still hot outside and all you want to do is wear your fall clothes, am I right?!
Jumpsuits are my new favourite item for this time of year. Why you ask? Well, the fabric can be pretty light weight so even though they are length pants, you’re still not overheating on those hot days that we always seem to have until October, making them the perfect fall-fashion item. They’re also easy to layer up with a faux-leather bomber or jean jacket if it does get a little chillier at night. They are also the most comfortable thing in the world, I swear.
Recently, I grabbed two jumpsuits that are perfect for the transition to fall from Quiz Clothing.
The first jumpsuit I picked up was a culotte jumpsuit in a deep berry floral print, which is the perfect colour for fall. The colour of this jumpsuit is my favourite thing about it.
The material itself is really lightweight and flowy. It’s also fully lined which is great because the material is so lightweight. I also really liked how it has fully adjustable spaghetti straps, making it perfect for those hot September days. The waistband is elastic and it comes with a fabric belt as well.
When I shot these photos it was pretty hot outside, but I looked like I was ready for fall without getting overheated. For those days that are a little bit cooler or even for those chilly evenings, I really like how this piece would look really great with a faux-leather bomber.
The next jumpsuit I picked up was a black and white polka-dot print with fully adjustable spaghetti straps. I really loved the detail of the drop-shoulder sleeve cold shoulder on this one. It also came with a tie around the waist and like the first jumpsuit it was really lightweight and also fully lined.
In case you didn’t read my last post, or don’t follow me on Instagram, Quiz Clothing is a UK based clothing company. They offer Worldwide shipping, it’s 12 CAD and arrives within 8 days and this was my first time getting something from them.
I was a little unsure about sizing, because it looked like the smallest size they had was a 6. I ended up going with a size 8 in both of the jumpsuits based on the measurements from the size chart, which ended up being extremely accurate. For reference, I usually wear a size XS/S or 4 at stores like H&M and Zara depending on how I want items to fit. I also wasn’t too sure what to expect quality wise, but when I unpackaged everything I was blown away by the quality of everything I received. I would definitely recommend that you check them out if you haven’t already. They have everything from prom dresses, to everyday wear and accessories.
