If you know me, you know that I’m big on smoothies. I had seen some of Evive Nutrition’s products in my local grocery store before so I was really excited when they reached out to me and offered to send me a box of their products to try out. Spoiler alert: I’m in love. If you have a busy or active lifestyle, you’re going to love Evive too.
If you’re not familiar with them, Evive is a Canadian company, based in Montreal, that was founded in 2015. (You might have even seen them on Dragon’s Den!) They offer convenient, easy and nutritious smoothies that you can make with or without a blender.
Yes, you read that right – without a blender.
What makes Evive so unique?
Their frozen smoothies come in a wheel, with 8 individual cubes. You can use half the cubes for a small portion, or use the entire wheel for a individual regular portion. All of their products are vegan, have no sugar added and are gluten-free.
You can pop the frozen cubes and your liquid of choice directly into a blender and whip up your smoothie, or you can pop the cubes into a mason jar with and let them sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes and simply add your liquid, screw on your lid and shake!
I’m a huge fan of the latter option for two reasons, first, I honestly hate cleaning blenders; and second, I’ve always had trouble with eating right away in the morning with my digestive issues, and would often skip breakfast all together because of this because I wouldn’t have time to go and make food until lunch time. With Evive, I can pop my cubes into a jar when I wake up and grab my morning coffee, go get dressed, start work for the day, and then when I’m ready for some food (usually around 9:30 – 10 a.m.) it’s as simple as grabbing my Evive jar and giving it a good shake.
The no-blender method makes it so easy and convent for days when you have to go into the office as well!
Where to find Evive products
You can find select flavours in most grocery stores, such as Superstore, Sobey’s, IGA, in the frozen food section. They sell them in bags of 3. For a full list of grocers that carry them, head to their website.
You can also shop the full product line directly on their website! If you like subscription boxes, they offer 3 different sizes and 4 different delivery options (ever 2,3,4,5 or 6 weeks) and you can skip or cancel at anytime.
If you want to try them out first before you commit, or gift a box to a friend, they also offer a gift-box option which includes a one-time shipment of 12 mixed smoothie flavours.
COUPON CODE: If you order directly from their website, you can use the code “teacupsandthings10” to get $10 off your first order!
Variety of flavours and options
I tried 12 out of the 14 flavours and honestly didn’t dislike any of them. I prepared them all using one of the suggested liquids, but you can use whatever liquid you prefer. Not only can you enjoy them as smoothies, but you can also doctor them to create smoothie bowls, sauces no-bake bars, and more! Their website and Instagram is filled with creative, easy recipe ideas.
If I had to pick, the following flavours would be my favourite of all the ones I tried (in no particular order).

So, are they worth the hype?
Short answer: Yes.
They’re super quick, insanely delicious and perfect for anyone who has a busy life.
I especially loved them because on days where I had more time and ate something else for breakfast or lunch when I found myself hungry in the middle of the afternoon and wanting a quick snack I would find myself opting to make a smoothie as opposed to reaching for whatever crap (usually candy or junk food) I could find in my house and binge-eating.
Overall, I found myself to have more energy, feel more alert and overall just sort of felt healthier while incorporating Evive into my regular routine. My skin was also glowing – it’s seriously looked the best it ever has and I think it helped control my breakouts. I’m also someone who suffers from chronic headaches and migraines, and I do think they helped a little bit with them as well. (Basically, even though I thought I ate pretty healthy before, I guess I need to eat healthier!)
We’ve already ordered another box!
