I seriously can’t believe that we are already approaching the end of October. November is right around the corner, and if you’re anything like me that means that you’re starting to think about… Christmas.
Yup, I said the C word. Sorry guys, winter is coming.
I like to think that I’m pretty good at gift shopping. I am that person who spends hours planning and everyone’s gift. I also tend to do most of my shopping online, which means I have to plan everything out well in advance to ensure it arrives on time. Typically, this means that I’ve started to think about gifts well before November 1st.
Anyway, since the gift-giving season is upon us I thought it was time for my first round-up post of the season!
Uncommon Goods is a one-stop shop for all your gift-giving needs. Based in Brooklyn, New York, half of their collection is handmade and 1/3 of it incorporates recycled or up-cycled materials, how cool is that?
1. Smartphone charging reversible tote 2. Inspirational pencil set 3. Peace and love earrings 4. Hidden crystal candles 5. Handmade sunrise tassel earrings 6. Overnight footcare kit 7. Smartphone bedside vase
I’m not going to lie, when I was browsing the site I found a couple of things that I wanted for myself. Like that smartphone charging reversible tote featured above – how cool is that?! As someone who is always on the go, it’s a game-changer.
Uncommon Goods makes it so easy to shop for anyone, by breaking it down into several gifts by recipient categories. When creating this round-up post I decided to do my picks in a similar format. I’ve chosen to feature my top 7 picks for three personas: gifts for her, gifts for him (because let’s be real, it’s hard to shop for guys), and gifts for the foodie.
1. Beard grooming kit 2. Beeropoly game 3. Wood watch 4. Weak knees sriracha sauce 5. Driftwood iPhone charging dock 6. Around the world spicy nuts collection 7. Vinyl record clock
A lot of the ‘gifts for him’ products were really cool! I can totally see a couple of guys I know loving each one of the items I selected for this category of my round up. How cool is that vinyl clock or the Beeropoly game?!
Being the total foodie that I am, I was also blown away by all the great food-related gifts I found. (Like hello, merlot infused coffee?) And just in case any of those items weren’t unique enough, there is also an entire section dedicated to customizable gifts!
Out of everyone I know, my dad is easily the hardest person to shop for. After spending some time on Uncommon Goods, I have a few ideas up my sleeves. Does anyone else have one person who is always harder to shop for? If so, let me know who it is!
1. Coffee market tote 2. Tarot cocktail cards 3. Merlot infused coffee 4. Foodie dice 5. Reclaimed wood cookbook stand 6. Beeswax food saving wraps 7. Flavoured simple syrup set
While this post was created in collaboration with Uncommon Goods, all of the opinions expressed in this post are of my own!
