Getting Cozy for Fall with StyleWe: Review + Giveaway

I’m sure you’re all aware by now that fall is my favourite time of year. (Exhibit A, B and C.) One of the many reasons why I love fall so much is the weather + fashion. Personally, I don’t do well in extreme cold/heat and I *love* dressing in layers – fall weather is just perfect for this! I find that I have more freedom with my outfit choices in the fall; I can wear layers without having to worry about bundling up or being too hot, it’s still warm enough to wear skirts and tights and it’s sweater weather!

The only problem is however that my bank account kind of gets a little abused in fall… (Does anyone else have this problem?!) Since it’s my favourite time of the year for fashion I just can’t help myself when it comes to shopping the new collections and trends! My bad.

Thankfully, with a little help from StyleWe I was able to get a new fall jacket (which is something that I badly needed) without breaking the bank – and you can too! StyleWe has kindly offered to give one person any item of their choice of a value of $100 or less.

I love shopping from the comfort of my couch but I always am a little bit nervous when it comes to buying clothes online. Mainly because it sucks if the item doesn’t fit and then you have to ship it back. To be honest, I hadn’t shopped from StyleWe before, but I’m seriously so impressed with how easy their website is to navigate and quality of my item. StyleWe has a really comprehensive size guide which made picking the right size super easy. The website has a size comparison chart and has detail measurements in a variety of units.

I got this jacket in a medium, and I probably would have been okay with a small but I really like my jackets to fit a little on the big side. I just find they are cozier that way plus there is always the extra room in case you are wearing a thick sweater that day. (#CanadianProblems) I have short arms so I did need to roll the sleeves a bit, but I expected that to be the case since I was sizing up intentionally. I also love my sleeves to be a bit on the long side so that as it gets colder I can un-roll them to really keep my hands cozy and trap the heat in.

My first impressions of the packing: man, these guys know how to pack. The package arrived really quickly and was in one of those plastic packing envelopes. When I opened it I found that the jacket was inside a plastic zip-lock dust cover which I really loved because let’s face it, stuff gets dirty. I knew that this way my jacket was arriving in pristine condition.

For the jacket itself: I was really impressed with the quality of the coat – lining included. It has a really nice weight to it and is tailored exceptionally well. I personally found that the quality of this particular jacket was superior to those that I’ve found at H&M for around the same price range.

Needless to say, I’m a fan of StyleWe and will be shopping from them again!
