One of my absolute favourite product lines of their’s has to be the diffuser blends. It’s amazing how big of a difference a little aromatherapy can make – we actually have 4 diffusers in our house! One in my bedroom, one in each of the two full-bathrooms and one in the kitchen. The best part about Saje’s diffuser oils? When you buy 3 10 ml diffuser blends you get 20% off! I thought I would share some of my top picks.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you’re aware by now that I recently got a new mattress. My previous mattress was about 10+ years old. The memory foam was worn out, I swore I was going to get stabbed by a spring every night I went to bed and it was starting to give me really bad back pain too.
I ended up getting a foam mattress from a Canadian company based right here in Toronto, AleaSleep. If you know me, you’ll know that I love supporting local and Canadian brands so I was even more excited when I found out that their mattresses are also made right in Toronto.
I’ve always loved the idea of bed trays. Not only are they functional, but they really can add a little extra something to a room. There is something about a styled bed tray that I really love.
I spent a while searching for the perfect bed tray when I was re-designing my bedroom, but everything I found I either didn’t like or it was too much money ($60-100+) and I couldn’t justify the price. That’s when I decided to make my own!
I made this faux-marble tray only using three items and it cost me under $30.
Ever since I renovated my bathroom i have been itching to give my bedroom a makeover as well. There wasn’t anything really wrong with my bedroom, I just kind of felt like I had outgrown it and it wasn’t really “me” anymore.
The last time I had updated was when I was 19 – need I say more? It was full of bright vibrant colours and mixed patterns. Think Kate Spade meets bohemian.
I actually had only just begun thinking about redoing it, and therefor was in no rush to update it… but that all changed the second I walked in my local Urban Barn store. I fell in love with their current collection. From faux fur pillows, to heavy knit blankets and duvet covers, it was cozy-vibes all around and everything was calling my name.
