What’s all the buzz about? Exploring the Cricut Explore Air!

If you follow me on social media, you’re probably well familiar with my Cricut obsession by now and you may have seen some of my past DIYs with my Cricut. Surprisingly enough, I still get asked a lot of questions about the machine whenever I post about it. I get asked everything from “how easy is it to use”, “what types of projects can you make with it” and even “what the heck is a Cricut”. In light of this, I thought I would take some time to start fresh and really introduce you to the machine by going over all the basics in a post.

So, first things first: what the heck is a Cricut ?!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. The possibilities are seriously endless when it comes to Cricuts. They are writing, scoring and personal cutting machines! They can cut paper, vinyl, adhesive foil, craft foam, iron-on transfers, faux leather, window cling and so much more. Basically, they are superheros.

Handmade Holiday: DIY Cricut Gift Tags + FREE Cut Files

I honestly don’t know how I survived life before having a Cricut. Seriously, it has made my life so much easier in so many ways, especially this holiday season.

Is anyone else super obsessive when it comes to picking your wrapping paper for the year, or is it just me? I think its the designer in me… but I just love it when all the wrapped presents work together visually. Anyways, each year, I pick a different theme. This year’s theme was silver, gold and natural (or kraft paper). Sometimes finding gift tags that match my theme is really tricky, and usually when I do find them they are crazy expensive. So this year I decided to make my own cute gift tags using my Cricut – and I’m never going back!
