I’ve been a fan of Burt’s Bees ever since I was a teen, so I was really excited when they reached out and asked if they could send along some products from their new sensitive solutions skincare line to try out! I’ve been using these products for about a month now and really liked them, so I thought I would take the time to share them with you and walk you through what I liked about them!
If you’re not familiar with Burt’s Bees, they’ve been around since 1980s and their products are consciously crafted with ingredients from nature – their products are over 95% natural origin. They’re also cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny Certified,
The sensitive solutions skincare line includes gentle, natural skin care products that are specially formulated for those with sensitive skin. I tried out two products from the line, the facial cleanser and a day cream.
Facial Cleanser
The facial cleanser is similar to a cream cleanser and is packed with moisture. It’s clinically shown to wash away dirt, oil and makeup without causing irritation or redness. It’s formulated with 98.9% natural ingredients and received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance.

I prefer a really gentle cleanser for the morning, so this has been great for that. My seasonal allergies are really bad April to June and they cause my skin to be extra sensitive and I’ve loving using this one as part of my routine each morning. It doesn’t cause any irritation and has actually helped soothe my skin. It will leave your skin feeling clean, moisturized and gives healthy glow.
Gentle Day Lotion
Similar to the facial cleanser, the Burt’s Bees gentle day lotion is formulated with 98.9% natural ingredients and received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance. It’s clinically shown to moisturize sensitive skin all day without causing redness or irritation. This product will calm and moisturize your skin, while giving you a healthy glow.

This is hands-down my new favourite daytime moisturizer. Not only do I have sensitive skin, but I’m also acne prone and have combo-skin. A lot of moisturizers are either too much moisture and break me out, or aren’t moisturizing enough. The gentle day lotion is gentle and moisturizing, and didn’t cause any breakouts. It’s calming, smoothing and works to replenish your skin’s outer layer and protect it from irritants. After just a few days of using it, I knew that this product was going to become a part of my regular routine and become a repeat purchase.
The Sensitive Solutions line also includes face wipes, an eye cream and a night cream. I’m really interested in trying the eye cream out, so I will likely be picking that one up myself soon. Burt’s Bees also plans to expand the collection, including the addition of an SPF day cream, as well as facial balm sticks, both of which I can’t wait to try once they become available!
Overall, I really enjoyed these products and would definitely recommend them to anyone who has sensitive skin like myself.
