12 Last-minute gifts made easy with Amazon.ca

December 12, 2017

Have you finished your holiday shopping yet? I  just finished shopping myself – and I’m someone who usually is done by November.

If you’re anything like a couple of my family members, (I’m not going to call anyone out by name, you know who you are)  you still have lots to do, are starting to feel the pressure and are dreading the crowds.

Thankfully, places like Amazon exist to make your holiday shopping a little easier – even if you’ve left it to the last minute!

Amazon offers four different kinds of express shipping options, that way no matter how late in the game you are, you can still get your gifts in time for the holidays! With this in mind, I decided to throw together a last-minute Amazon.ca gift guide, filled with items that everyone can enjoy. Thank goodness for express shipping, am I right?

1. Swell water bottle 2. Anker mini powerbank 3. Fitbit Flex 2 4. Kindle e-reader 5. Instax camera 6. Call It Spring purse 7. Aukey essential oil diffuser 8. Wireless headphones 9. Paddywax candle 10. Friends complete series 11. Instant Pot 12. Cozy slippers

Obviously, I’d be cool with getting anything on this list (most of it I already own!) but I thought I would also take some time to go over some of my favourite items from this gift guide and why I love them so much.

Swell water bottle

Everyone in my family has one, and they all love them. They come in all sorts of different designs, so there is bound to be one for everyone on your list.

Mini powerbank

A portable power bank is something that everyone could use, am I right? Say goodbye to dead batteries! I never leave home without having mine with me, especially when I’m headed to a work or blog event. I can’t remember life without having one.

Essential oil diffuser

I have two diffusers – one in my bathroom, and one in my bedroom. I use the one in my bathroom every morning when I’m getting ready, or when I am having a bath. I’ll also use the one in my bedroom every night before bed. Essential oils really can change your entire mood.

Call it Spring purse

People often forget that Amazon has a beauty and fashion department. Yes, that means they have make-up, skincare, accessories, shoes and clothes! They also have lots of brand-name items. I love this purse from Call it Spring (owned by Aldo), the pom-pom is what makes it!

Instant pot

We recently just got one of these and our house is obsessed! It cooks everything so fast you guys. And not only that, everything is delicious. Just the other day my mom cooked frozen ground chicken in under 10 minutes – insane, right? We also cooked a whole chicken last week in no time at all. It  was probably the most flavourful chicken we’ve had in a while. It’s a bit pricey in comparison to some other items on this list, but it’s definitely the must-have gift of 2017.

Friends DVD boxset

I mean, how could anyone not love this one? Just in case Friends isn’t your thing (although I don’t see why it wouldn’t be) Amazon has loads of other DVD boxsets so there is bound to be one for everyone on your list.

And in case you’re wondering about those shipping options, here they are:

Express Shipping 2-4 business days
Priority Shipping 1-3 business days
Two-day Shipping Within 2 business days
One-day Shipping Within 1 business day

For information about shipping rates, check out Amazon’s site.

I had content planned to post sooner (like this photo as I’m sure you can clearly tell by the Christmas decorations 😅), but life happened and I ended up taking a break from Instagram for the rest of my holidays which honestly was really nice.

This week was my first week back to work, so I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with my pjs and Ruffi again this weekend.

’Tis the season for ugly Christmas sweaters! 🎄🎄🎄

This one has been a favourite of mine for a few years now. It might be time for me to get a new one to keep things fresh… or should I say ‘pine' fresh. See what I did there? Ok, I’ll see myself out. 🙈 #uglychristmassweater #christmas2020
